The St. Charles County Police Department will host its annual Trunk or Treat event on Saturday, October 12, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will take place at their facility located at 101 Sheriff Dierker Ct., O'Fallon, MO 63366.

This free event is targeted at children ages 12 and under along with their parents or guardians. Community members are invited to participate by decorating a vehicle to distribute candy or by donating candy for the event.

Those interested in participating can complete the Community Participation Form available on the St. Charles County website. For questions or to contribute, individuals can contact the police department at 636-949-3057 or via email at SCCPDCommunity@sccmo.org.

Candy donations can be made at any time by dropping off items with the In-House Officer at the police department entrance.

Parking will be available at the O'Fallon Elks Lodge #2587, located at 1163 Tom Ginnever Ave, with golf cart shuttles provided to transport attendees to the event.

Two Teens Arrested After SW Bend Altercation

Bend Police arrested two 14-year-olds following an altercation near Lodgepole Dr. and Mahogony St. that left two boys with physical injuries. The injured boys were treated and released at St. Charles.

Fire Rehab Team Welcomes 10 New Responders

St. Charles County Fire Rehab reported onboarding 10 new responders who are now trained, certified and ready to volunteer. The team thanked St. Charles County Ambulance District for use of its community meeting room.

Custard With a Cop Planned in Lake Saint Louis

St. Charles County Police Department and the Lake Saint Louis Police Department plan a Custard With a Cop event at Andy's Frozen Custard. It is scheduled for June 25 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

The St. Charles Jaycees said it will host a trivia night to raise money for local charities. The group did not list an event date or time.

St. Charles County Fire Rehab Responds After Fire

St. Charles County Fire Rehab responded to a fire in St. Charles City after it broke out around 2:30 p.m. and provided cooling and supplies to first responders. The group also helped displaced residents with temporary shelter and started Red Cross contact.

St. Charles County Fire Rehab Responds to O’Fallon Fire

St. Charles County Fire Rehab responded to a residential structure fire in northern O’Fallon. The team stayed on scene for about 1.5 hours, then returned to the station to restock and dry equipment.
