The Blanchette Swimming Pool, constructed in 1937 as part of a Public Works Administration project, is now hiring for summer positions. Unlike modern water parks, the original pool featured a single large swimming area, a ten-foot deep end, and three diving boards. Historically, the pool remained open until Labor Day, at which point lifeguards returned to school.
